BODIES... The Exhibition showcases meticulously dissected real human body specimens that are preserved through an innovative process and respectfully presented, giving visitors the opportunity to view the beauty and complexity of their own organs and systems.
For visitors of all ages, BODIES... The Exhibition displays real human bodies and allows people to view themselves as never before. More than 200 organs and full body specimens are on display in 9 galleries showcasing the complexity of the body´s many bones, muscles, nerves, blood vessels and organs.
BODIES... The Exhibition is a stunning display of human anatomy, arriving in Budapest following its huge success in cities such as New York, London, Washington, Mexico City, Amsterdam and Prague. More than 7 million people have already had a chance to discover all there is to know about human anatomy.

The concerts are held in two really evocative locations: the area between the Palm House and the Large Lake and also in the Japanese Garden. Out series of concerts will include performances by the best musicians of jazz, Dixieland and klezmer music, but the repertoire includes light classical music too. The most beautiful works by Strauss, Rossini, Offenbach and Liszt will be introduced by symphonic orchestras. The concerts start at 20:30, but our guests can take a walk in the gardens, have a look at the beautiful listed buildings and visit the Palm House and the Aquarium from 19:00. In the café of the Palm house we offer a nice cup of cofee and ice creams along with a magical view of the Zoo. The restaurant of the Zoo offers a quiet dinner in the shadow of the old planton trees or a candlelit meal after the concert. We are looking forward to welcoming everybody for a wonderful evening in the Zoo: a concert, a nice evening walk and a candlelit dinner.

The main aim of the Budapest Summer Festival, which takes place in the Margitsziget stage and Városmajor Open Air Theatre and the surrounding area, is to serve the needs of a wide range of audiences and age groups by providing a festival environment following the closure of normal theatres in the summer season. In order to strengthen tourism they organize a continuous series of programs and performances guaranteed to be held. All events are part of the colourful genre system to entertain the people of both the capital and Hungary. Both locations of the festival are in central places of the city, yet surrounded by valuable natural environment which provides a relaxed, open-air entertainment opportunity for the audience. Visitors of the festivals every year are surprised by the novelties, private programs, folklore evenings, guaranteed tourism attractions and large-scale performances. The Budapest Summer Festival celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2008 by offering 2 locations, almost 70 performances for the music-, theatre- and concert loving audience.

The events of Summer on the Chain Bridge are opened by the Bridge Festival, organised to great success for many years, and the Budapest Carnival, which originally marked the withdrawal of Soviet troops.
Last year Budapest’s most beautiful bridge was taken over by pedestrians for eight themed weekends, with performances by bands, theatres and dance groups. Both young and old alike will find something to entertain amongst shows by Hungarian and foreign artists from the worlds of theatre, classical music, folk music, world music, jazz and dance amongst craft stalls and puppet theatres.
